Learning a language

The main thing about learning a language is to be able to open your mouth and speak it. Most often, Asian students lacks the confidence to communicate with others using a newly learned language. Therefore,the suggestion for the students is to make an adjustment in attitude. Making mistakes in language that is not your mother tongue is no shame. The more oral practice you have or the more mistakes you make, the better chance you have to correct these errors and improve. That is the first step to improving your English.

Weight controlling

"About two-thirds of the American population is overweight, and of those, half are already obese.The diet industry is the visible sign of a looming public health problem." That is, weight controlling is very important for human beings; if you want to have healthy body, you have to control your weight and take exercise. Do not too depend on low-fat and fat-free products because consumers into believing that such products contained fewer calories, causing them to eat even more. Therefore, if we want to have perfect figure, balanced diet and regular exercise is our best choice.

Go shopping

I went shopping with Melody today. At first, I planned to buy vegetable juice and cosmetics. Nevertheless, we also bought clothes and shorts; that is not in our plan. When I look at clothes in a store, I saw the same clothes which I was bought in the Internet. The main point is the price; this shop only sells NT190 dollars, but I spent 350 NT dollars in Internet auction. I was so shocked and sad; I can’t believe the price difference! Next time, I will not so impulsive and I will think over when I have desire for buying things.

Me

I am an easygoing and optimistic person. Many people consider that I am very easy to get along; I think if someone treats well to me, I will treat her well, too. I love the way everybody playing together and get along well. In my life, my family and friends are forever and my favorite; I can’t live without them. When I feel sad or angry, I can recover soon; some people think my personality is good and also appreciate me. I would like to say, if you feel sad, you just cry or do something that you like; this way, you will feel much better and happy at next moment!

My hobbies

I have a lot of hobbies, such as singing, dancing, shopping, swimming and playing badminton. Having at least one hobby is important because if you don’t have any hobby, it will be so boring in your life and you can’t relax yourself. Therefore, everyone should have their own hobby and let the hobby become your specialty. Singing is one of my favorite hobbies. When I was singing, I felt happy and relaxed; I usually spend at least one hour singing, during this time, I don’t feel tired or bored. This is the best time in one day. That’s why I always can’t reject my friend’s invitation to the KTV. If my boyfriend can sing well, I guess I will fall in love with him again!

Just be yourself

It’s been quite hot recently, everybody was eager to drink icy cold beverages. In this hot weather, I always wear flimsy coat to prevent ultraviolet rays. Many of my friends asked me whether I feel hot or not. Of course I felt hot, but I can endure no matter how hot it is; this is all for my skin. My friends said I have great patience, I think it is just because even if you always complain about hot weather, it will still hot. Many people have a hot temper because of the hot weather, I think it is useless. Don’t let the weather influence your mood, just be yourself!

Happy Mother’s day!

Today is my mother’s big day, so I bought a chocolate cake for her. She said if I wrote a card for her, she would be very happy; certainly, I wrote a beautiful card with my deep love. At first, I would give her a flower which was made by me. Unfortunately, when I rode my motorcycle to the station, it was flown out. I was disappointed, but my mother said “it’s ok, you have the kindly feelings, and I felt so happy.” I love my mother and my family very much, they are my favorite and I wish we will be together forever.

Jogging

I like jogging on the playground at night. It can lose my weight and also exercise my body. I love the breeze because it makes me feel comfortable and cool. When friends were jogging together, they can encourage each other to keep on going, so I love jogging with my friends, it can let my energy step up.

So cold!

I went to the night market with Judy yesterday. At first, it was a drizzle, but as soon as we got there, it rained heavily. We had dinner there, we were not happy because the heavy rain. My clothes were wet and I felt so cold. At that time, my mood was really bad and I wished that if there has someone I can depend on.

Library

Our school library is really terrific! On the 8 floor we can see movie and listen to the music for free. The most important thing is that the movie is famous, such as “Harry Potter”, “The phantom of the opera”. You can see the movie at there, but you can’t borrow it out if it is popular. The facilities are quality and I really like it and appreciate my school provide us for these great resources.

Swimming

I want to go swimming because when I soaked my body in cold water, I feel comfortable and happy. The most important thing is that I can lose my weight by swimming. Swimming is a good exercise and I like swimming very much. It’s really making me happy that I learn how to swim during senior high school. I am so appreciate my teacher’s teaching and be patient with me.

My computer is broken!

My computer is broken because when I open the Internet explorer, the website will close immediately. I don’t know why and it really let me feel unhappy. The way I can update my blog and surf the Internet is borrowing my friend’s computer. It’s not convenient and I feel embarrassed borrowing many times. I hope my computer will recover soon.

I got a cold

I went to see a doctor yesterday because I got a cold. If I don’t take medicine, I will recover slowly, I don’t know why? Taking medicine will let me feel dizzy because the medicine effect. I felt dizzy of head and dim of eyes now, I need a rest but I can’t because the mid-term is coming soon. I have to get up steam and recover rapidly. God blessing me!

I love 85℃

Today I and Grace went to 85℃, which is mainly sell cakes and coffee. Why this chain store is named 85℃? This is from “the coffee tastes good in 85 degrees Centigrade” I love their cakes and coffee. My favorite cake is Italian chocolate cake because it has chocolate’s sweet but having a little bitter on it. Their coffee is also nonpareil because it is cheap but tastes wonderful. I love 85℃ very much because it can make me relax and enjoy the best cakes I have ever eaten.

Running-board was flew out!

I and my classmates had beef steaks yesterday. We went to there by bicycles. The steak house was very big and beautiful; its food was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, on the way we went back to school, my running-board flew out suddenly and I was frightened. Nevertheless, it was funny and my friends laughed exaggeratedly. My bicycle had bad quality, but it was expensive and was the cheapest one at the store. I think the quality is really important. Next time, I will choose my bicycle cautiously.

A chafing dish

Today I will go to eat a chafing dish with my colleagues. We have not met for a long time, so I’m very look forward to meeting them. They are very nice to me, I love them very much. I am thankful for their help at work; during the work, they are my spiritual stay. I love we work hard together and help each other; I consider my colleagues are really important to me, and they are my forever friends.

Aerobics!!

I join the aerobics association this semester. I like listening to the music while taking exercises; it will make me so comfortable. Aerobics is not as difficult as pop dance, so I can learn it easily. I met my friend who is my colleague at the aerobics association. I' m so happy that I can keep in touch with her. She is cute and easy-going; I hope we can become the good friend!

A concert in school

Today evening I went to a concert with Angel. The performance is at our school, so lucky! They use cello and piano to play. Both the performers are famous in the world; they have great accomplishment with their masterly skills. During the performance, I felt my spirit became calmness and comfortable. I love this kind of performance very much. I wish school can hold more concerts; I will participate if I have leisure. Have a nice day today!

Lovely complex

This is a movie about a tall girl and a short boy’s love story. At first, they quarreled with each other everyday, but later the girl found she fell in love with the boy. After she told him her feelings, he didn’t know what to do and avoid her, so she felt her heart dispirited and the mind indolent. Afterward the boy finally found he loved her, of course they were together in the end of the movie.

This is a love comedy; the characters were so cute and performed vividly. Watching this kind of movies make me feel so happy and warm; I hope my Mr. Right like the boy in this movie because I love his optimistic and cute personality. This kind of movies is my favorite!

Why do people come to university?

People come to the university to increase knowledge. Because when we study in
university, we can learn what we want to learn, so we can learn interesting
subjects. Besides this, people can also learn other professional knowledge to
increase their competitively. For example, people who major in English will also
learn commercial knowledge or English teaching. After all, English is just a tool in
the society. Learning more knowledge is necessary for us. Most of all, in addition
to increasing academic knowledge, making a lot of friends and teachers in university
is also important for us, because we'll learn more from them. I think it's more
important than schoolwork, and we will benefit from them.In conclusion, it's not enough to just major in only one subject in this society, so to have more knowledge is a trend. In the future, people who have more professional knowledge will be more competitive among their colleagues, and adapt well at a new job.

Third, it is useful when I watch the alien movies. Studying English well, it will be
a big help to understand English-language movies. Forth, all my friends like study
English. Because of this, I can always practice English with my friends. I can learn
form others. When I talk to them in English, I don't feel shied. I can speak what I
want to say even thought I make some mistakes. It's another way for me to improve
my English skills. Fifth, studying English is good for using the internet. The most
important reason is for me to study English is that I think studying English well is
a good way for me to have a foreign boyfriend in different countries. I have dream
that I can married with a foreigner in the future. If I can learn English well,
it’s a big chance for me to have a alien boyfriend. To sum up those reasons, I think that studying English is good for us.

In my opinion, I agree that students should study English. There are many benefits
for us to learn English. First, study English is useful for talking to people from
other countries. Now, it is a globalization world. English is a simple but important
language to use when you travel around the world. Secondly, studying in
the English classes are fun. You can talk to the foreign teachers directly by using
English. For example, the teacher of pronunciation class always gave us a lot of
good music to listen. I can learn some beautiful sentence in the songs. That's a
good way to improve our pronunciation immediately.

It has friendship, love and caring. It is funny, serious, and sad. It touched me in
a very special way. It made me laugh and cry and I loved to listen to it just like a
treasure box. It ran through our minds like a hurricane and I'll never forget it. I
didn't want to stop reading it. I loved Charlotte's Web!

A Battle Of Wits

Last week I saw the "A Battle Of Wits" in the military class. After seeing this
film, I have a lot of feelings about the character that Andy Liu play the role of
this movie. He is a Mohist who help other people without benefits. Is everybody
appreciate his unselfish love? Dose his contribution is correct? Most of people
would thank him a lot, but there was somepeople doubted him, thinking he had another
thought to him. So, Mohist's big love is right? That is a issue we can think about.

How to make a pearl ball

A pearl ball is a very special and delicious meal. If you have been eaten them, you
might love them as soon as possible! Here are some tips and you can follow it. I
promise that you will cooking it very easily. First, wash the glutinous rice and soak in water for 1 hour. Then drain the rice and set aside. Secondly, mix ground pork with cooking wine 1/2 T (tablespoon); soy sauce 1 T; pepper 1/4 T; cornstarch 1/2 T, beat up for 5 minutes. Third, add water chestnut 2 T; chopped shrimp 1 T; ginger 1 T; green onion 1 T, and mix it thoroughly. After that, make the ground pork into 3cm diameter balls, and roll into the drained rice. At last, arrange in a steamer and steam over high heat for 30 minutes. Remember, put some water into the cup with the material of the pearl ball. If not, the balls will be more stiff and taste no good! During this 30 minutes, you can do other things to relax a moment. After 30 minutes, you can enjoy your delicious pearl ball.

An ideal mate

Everyone has an ideal mate in their mind. He may be very handsome, rich and gentle. No matter what kind of condition should be accorded with, as long as you like, he is your ideal lover. After all, love is blind, the charming prince in everybody's heart is not the same. So, to be my ideal mate, I think he must accord with some conditions.
First, I want a person who is optimistic because when he faces predicament, he will always look at the bright side. I think this kind of person must be happy and getting along with him will be very delightful. Secondly, having the same interest as me is necessary. As we have common interests, we can participate in activities and share the mood at that time. Thus, our emotion will be closer and better. Finally, a trustworthy ideal mate is very important, too. For example, if you get along well with the friend of the opposite sex, but your lover suspects you have another lover. That means he distrusts you. To lovers, it’s a foundation to believe in each other.
These three premises are essential conditions of becoming my ideal mate. Although it’s difficult to find an ideal mate, but I think it is easy to accord with these conditions, so I believe my Prince Charming will come some day.

A night market

I went to a night market with my friend on Saturday. I bought a shirt and pants. Actually it cost 780 dollars, but she only charged me 680 dollars, so certainly I bought it. I' m so lucky because it looks so pretty. And then we went to eat beefsteaks, it only cost us 100 dollars. We felt satisfied and wanted to go there second time because it was so delicious. We had good time today; I think we will go there again soon.

So different!

The university is very different from the high school. When I was in high school, classmates'emotion is very good because we got along with each other everyday. Furthermore, our seatwould be changed once every three months. So, I could talk to classmates whom I seldom talk to. Because of that, every classmate was my good friends. I felt went to school was a happy thing. But in university, the classroom seat was free, so the good friends would sit together during every class. Although sat with friends were good, but I couldn’t talk to every classmate easily, everybody is with her good friend. So the room-mate was very important, it decides your future friends. I don’t like this way of making friends, it was onstricted. But the advantage of being a college student is also a lot.The time of attending class is flexible; that let me have surplus time to take a part-time job. I believe I can get used to college soon.

A poor day!

Yesterday in steak house I compensated 120 NT dollars to the boss. At first, everything was going well. Unfortunately, when a customer paid the bill with a VIP card, originally it should sell by 10% discount. But today is holiday, so I can't give a discount to VIP. Nevertheless, I forgot it. I gave her discount. Her consumptive total was more than 1000 NT dollars, so I have to pay for the amount of the discount. What a poor day! I would never forget it after yesterday's experience.

Work in a steak house

Everyday in the steak house I can meet all sorts of customers. Most guests are very courteous when I cleaned their tabletop. I am enjoy servicing people because when they say “thank you" to me; I will feel very happy and gratified. I think this is glamour of the service industry. A few customers attitude wasn't good, but I still have to smile to them. That is the job! I can't take private mood at work even I have failed in love. Since I have worked a week, I have known work's hard and making money is toilsome. So I think to have a part-time job is necessary. Students should try to work during their university life to discipline theirself.

I feel weak...

Today I get a cold.I feel weak and impatient.I wish it will get better soon because I still have to go to work tomorrow.I don't want to let guests see weak
waiter, so I'll do my best to let myself recover from a bad cold. My motorcycle has sent to yuntech today. But my skill of riding is not good, so I always let my friends ride then I seat on backseat.I also buy a new helmet to protect myself. After all, safety is more important than anything! I think homework in this semester is much, especially on Monday. Lots of homework is due today. I wish I can handle it without wasting time. I miss my family recently, but I can't go home frequently because of my work. That's really bad!But how can I do? Doing a part-time job is my choice, so I will accept the truth and get used to it.

The writing answer

Last semester in writing class I learn a lot. Like how to write a complete essay and the structure of the composition. In the senior high school, my teacher never teach me how to write a composition. She only taught me how to write a sentence. So, my ablity of writing is very poor. Also, my senior high school is major in business. Therefore, my English teacher is not pay much attention to English. Fortunately, I study in yuntech now and major in English.I believe my ablity of English will make progress substantially.


My weak points in my writing ablity in English is grammar and I can't express myself
smoothly. For example, I felt my compostion exam of GEPT(middle rank) is fluent. But the score is always low. I don't know why. I wish I can pass the exam in the future.


The first week in this semester I find the part-time job in a steak house. The salary is not good, but I don't care very much. Because my purpose is learn the work experience. My job is waitress and counter. It's very tiring, the details of my job I will record every week in my blog!
